The Mishimoto Heat Defense Tape provides a robust solution for reflecting heat and protecting critical engine components from extreme temperatures. This tape is crafted from a highly reflective metalized polyimide film, the same material utilized in the space industry for insulating sensitive devices against intense heat. It is bonded to glass cloth with a durable high-temperature adhesive. Capable of withstanding up to 675°F of radiant heat, the tape adheres with a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive that comes with an easy-to-peel protective backing.
